JOB ADVERT Viana’s Home Ltd is a resort company that offers services such as; lodging, gaming, restauration, and recreation within the neighbourhood of Nkoa-bang, Yaounde-Cameroon. She seeks the services of a skilled accountant to handle her financial affaires. The key responsibilities of the accountant involve: Bookkeeping Accounting: Record and post all financial transactions in accordance with principles on a daily bases. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information to management. End of month adjustments: Carry out end of month adjustments including; amortization, bank reconciliation, prepayments, accruals and inventory. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with management to guide financial planning and decision-making. Cost and Revenue Management: Monitor and analyze revenue streams from room sales, food and beverage operations, hall rentals and other sources, identifying trends and opportunities for revenue enhancement. Third party account management (accounts payable and receivable): Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management. Ensure timely invoicing, and monitor accounts for follow up on overdue payments. Payroll and Tax Administration: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and salaries to employees. Ensure timely declaration and payment of fiscal and social obligations. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control on Viana’s Home operational processes, fixed assets and material accounts to identify and hedge risks related to fraud, errors, and non-compliance with the GAAP. Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Provide documentation and explanations as needed during audit processes. Treasury Management: Manage cash flow to ensure a smooth operation on a going concern.
